    6. Can I receive a facial treatment while pregnant?
Yes, you can safely receive a facial while pregnant. Please let your esthetician know so we can avoid chemical exfoliants and focus on gentle, pregnancy-safe skincare

    7. Do you recommend products to use after facial services?
Yes, after each treatment we’ll provide personalized product recommendations to maintain your glow and support ongoing skin health whether your concern is dryness, acne, fine lines, redness, etc.

    8. How often should I book facial treatments for the best results?
We recommend booking a facial every 4–6 weeks to maintain results, encourage healthy cell turnover, and keep your skin in its best condition.

    9. What are chemical peels?
Chemical peels are advanced exfoliating treatments that help resurface the skin, smooth fine lines, fade discoloration, and improve overall texture. They can also help reduce acne and boost radiance when done in a facial plan.

    1. What is an airbrush spray tan?
An airbrush spray tan is a customized sunless tanning treatment where a trained esthetician applies a fine mist of bronzing solution using a handheld airbrush machine. This allows for even, streak-free color that’s tailored to your skin tone and desired shade without UV exposure.

    2. How many shade options are there?
We offer a wide range of shades from light to deep bronze, chosen by your esthetician to complement your natural undertone and desired depth.

    3. How do I prepare for an airbrush spray tan?
Before your appointment, shave and exfoliate your skin to remove any dry or dead cells for an even application. Avoid lotions, oils, deodorant, or makeup on the day of your tan, as these can block the tanning solution from developing properly. Wear or bring loose, dark clothing to change into after your service.

    4. What should I wear to my airbrush spray tan appointment?
Wear loose, comfortable clothing such as a flowy dress, jumpsuit, or oversized shirt and pants. Avoid tight waistbands or bras that can rub the tan while it develops.

    5. How long should I wait after my airbrush spray tan before showering?
We recommend waiting at least four (4) hours before rinsing your spray tan with warm to cool water. You may wait up to six hours, but color development stops after that point. Avoid soap during your initial rinse.

    6. How do I make my airbrush spray tan last longer?
Keep your skin hydrated daily with body lotion (avoid oils). Pat dry after showers instead of rubbing, and avoid long, hot baths or chlorine exposure to extend your tan’s life.

    7. How far in advance should I get my airbrush spray tan before an event?
Book your appointment two days before your event for the best color payoff and longevity. Avoid booking more than five days in advance to ensure your tan still looks fresh.

    8. How do I remove my airbrush spray tan before my next spray tan appointment?
Use an exfoliating glove or mitt in the shower to gently buff away your old tan. You can also use a tan-remover product to help clear any remaining color for a smooth base.

    9. Can I get a spray tan while pregnant?
Yes, spray tans are generally safe during pregnancy, but we recommend consulting your doctor first. We use solutions without parabens or harsh chemicals and can modify application methods for comfort.

    10. Will a spray tan protect my skin from the sun?
No. While your tan provides color, it does not contain SPF. Always apply sunscreen when outdoors to protect your skin from UV damage. Ask your esthetician about the available sunscreen options at S.E. SKIN.

    1. What are eyelash extensions?
Eyelash extensions are individually applied synthetic lashes attached to each of your natural lashes to enhance length, fullness, and overall definition. Each set is customized to your preferred look and eye shape.

    2. What is the difference between lash extension styles?
There are three main styles of eyelash extensions: classic, hybrid, and volume. Classic offers a natural look, hybrid adds moderate fullness, and volume gives a more dramatic, full appearance. Your esthetician will customize your set to complement your features.

    3. How do I know which eyelash style is right for me?
During your appointment, your esthetician will assess your eye shape, natural lash health, and desired look to recommend the best style, whether natural, wispy, or full-glam.

    4. How long do eyelash extensions last?
A full set of eyelash extensions typically lasts 2–3 weeks with proper care. You can book a two-week fill to maintain fullness, but a new full set is required after three weeks.

    5. Do you offer brown lash extensions?
Yes! We offer brown eyelash extensions for clients who want a softer, more natural look compared to traditional black lashes.

    6. What glue is used for lash extensions?
We use a professional-grade lash adhesive designed for long-lasting wear and safety near the eye area. Our estheticians carefully apply glue a few millimeters away from your lash line for optimal comfort and protection.

    7. How do I take care of my lash extensions?
Gently wash your eyelash extensions daily or every other day with lash shampoo and cool water, then brush through them once dry. This keeps your eyes healthy and removes oil, sweat, and debris that can weaken the bond.

    8. Do lash extensions cause eye infections?
Eyelash extensions do not cause infections when applied and cared for properly. However, infections can occur if extensions are not cleaned regularly or if aftercare instructions are ignored.

    9. If I am allergy prone, would lash extensions be a good option for me?
We do not recommend eyelash extensions for clients who frequently rub their eyes or have strong allergies, as this may affect retention. We offer lash lifts as a gentler alternative that curls your natural lashes for 4–6 weeks.

    10. Can I wear makeup with eyelash extensions?
Yes. However, avoid using mascara or oil-based makeup removers, as these can break down the adhesive. Instead, use oil-free products and apply minimal makeup near the lash line to preserve your extensions.

    1. What is brow tint?
Brow tinting is a temporary color treatment that enhances the color and fullness of your eyebrows. We custom-match your tint to your natural hair color or your desired shade for soft, defined brows that last up to two weeks.

    2. Is brow shaping included in a brow wax appointment?
Yes! Every brow service includes shaping. Your esthetician will map and define your brows to suit your facial features and desired look before waxing.

    3. What is the difference between hard and soft wax?
Hard wax hardens on the skin and removes hair without the need for strips, making it ideal for sensitive areas such as the face, underarms, bikini, and Brazilian. Soft wax uses a strip for removal and is best for larger areas like the legs, arms, and back.

    4. How long must my hair be to be waxed?
Hair should be about the length of a grain of rice (approximately ¼ inch) for best removal results. If it’s too short, the wax may not adhere properly.

    5. Can I book a wax appointment if I have sensitive skin?
Absolutely. We take extra care for sensitive skin clients, using gentle, low-temperature hard wax and soothing aftercare products to minimize irritation and redness.

    6. Can I book a wax appointment if I am on accutane?
No. Accutane thins the skin, increasing the risk of lifting or irritation during waxing. You must wait at least six months after discontinuing Accutane before scheduling a wax service.

    7. Can I book a wax appointment if I am using retinol?
To receive a waxing service safely, discontinue using any retinol or retinoid products for at least 10-14 days before your appointment. Retinoids increase skin sensitivity and can cause lifting or irritation if combined with waxing.

    8. Does waxing exfoliate my skin?
Yes. Waxing naturally exfoliates by removing both unwanted hair and dead skin cells, leaving your skin smoother and softer.

    9. How long do waxing results last?
Waxing results typically last 3–4 weeks, depending on your hair growth cycle and at-home care. Regular waxing helps slow regrowth over time and promotes finer, softer hair.

    10. Can I get a wax or brow service before a special event?
Yes, but we recommend booking your service at least 2–3 days before any event to allow redness or sensitivity to subside and ensure your skin looks its best.
